This is a Contract position in Brampton, ON posted March 15, 2023.

Job Details

Supporting the Installation & Service Team Manager (ISTM) and field technicians with a direct link to Sales.  This position requires the candidate to be able to think quickly, understand complex equipment, adapt and change constantly, and will be considered the backbone of the branch.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist ISTM with monthly setting of revenue forecast and ensuring department meets or exceeds forecast
  • Schedules and coordinates all installation projects
  • Must learn functions carried out by our ERP system Oracle Fusion
  • Ensure all installations are completed on agreed upon time frame and within budget
  • Orders all required equipment for each installation project
  • Ensures technicians have all required parts before attending a job site
  • Makes all required outbound calls to the customer to establish job site readiness and works with client and technician to facilitate superior product/service delivery.
  • Must work closely with project managers to meet project deadlines
  • Required to work closely with vendors to keep track of equipment delivery dates
  • Must communicate with customers regarding their installations and provide quality service to customers – escalate when required
  • Performs warehouse maintenance & receiving of equipment
  • Acts as a liaison between Customers, Service, Installation, and Management
  • Works laterally with Sales on installations and service
  • Inventory implementation and ongoing management
  • Coordination of facilities management including orientation of sub-contractors for building maintenance
  • Work with Sales team to ensure best possible experience for the customer

REQUIRED

Education:           

  • Completion of High School Diploma

Experience:         

  • Minimum of five years in a front-line customer service position                      

Skills:

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Fluent English language written and verbal skills, demonstrated superior people and telephone skills
  • Must learn quickly
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, networking ability and a good knowledge of operating systems
  • Knowledge and understanding of revenue and budget margins
  • Proven ability to build relationships inter-company
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing demands and work well under pressure
  • The ability to meet deadlines and commitments and to adjust/adapt to new ideas and procedures is necessary

Other:

  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be physically capable to lift up to 20 kg unaided, and work on stepladders.
