Working in a dynamic environment the Loss Prevention Manager for Franchise will be responsible for building a strong and successful LP partnership within the Franchise business. The successful candidate must also be able to influence the application of LP best practices to help mitigate shrink within a franchised model.

Accountabilities:

  • Foster and maintain a positive business relationship with all Franchisees, their respective employees and all Franchise support teams.
  • Identify shrink opportunities by performing SPOT (Shrink Prevention Operational Tool) compliance audits and provide suggestions, based on industry best practices, to Franchisee’s and their respective staff on how to improve identified shrink opportunities.
  • Recommend and support Franchisee’s through training and store visits, designed to create Loss Prevention awareness.
  • Ensure that store’s loss prevention equipment such as CCTV, alarms, safes and other physical security controls are in good working order and are being utilized effectively.
  • Lead and bring timely resolution on all internal integrity investigations brought forth.
  • Act as a liaison with local law enforcement.
  • Support the respective Franchise during all critical incidents.

Role Requirements:

  • Ability to influence and gain Franchise support for new ideas and initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and sense of urgency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively multi-task.
  • Results-oriented individual who contributes to end result through partnership, knowledge, skill and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to deal with confidential issues and possess strong professional judgment.
  • Self-motivated / team player.
  • Possess strong research, analytical and deductive reasoning skills.
  • Demonstrates an ability to uncover internal dishonesty.
  • 3-5 years of progressive loss prevention/retail operations experience.
  • Ability to travel extensively (costs will be reimbursed).
  • Certification in Behavioral Analysis Interviewing is an asset.
  • Post-Secondary education in Law & Security is an asset.
