This is the perfect opportunity for a dynamic Sr. Analyst to take their exceptional analytic, technical, problem solving and presentation skills to make an immediate impact on our business and grow their career within Canada’s largest employer.  As a member of the Central Costing and Support team, you will be an integral part of a fast-paced and fun team looking to transform the way we use and consume data.

What You'll Do:

As Finance Sr. Analyst, Central Costing and Support, you will be responsible to:

• Ensure accuracy and timely execution of all requests received for the maintenance of cost conditions from business partners
• Work on costing master data cleansing exercises to ensure integrity of costing
• Coordinate with various internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies
• Initiate and lead discussions with vendor partners to deep-dive issues, analyze root cause, and work towards aligning systems and processes
• Ensure Data Governance policies and procedures are being followed
• Liaise with leads from various operational departments within the business, namely Enterprise Procurement/Category, merchandising and finance to review results and drive change to resolve underlying issues.
• Be responsible for communication materials and to work with large amounts of data to provide meaningful reports that capture the health of the business & our systems
• Drive collaborative cultural change, awareness and adoption by fostering highly collaborative and effective working relationships based on trust; improving collaboration within portfolios, across portfolios and across divisions
• Support the evolution of business processes, representing the new corporate vision by acting as a champion for change.
• Clear communication and positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Special Projects as assigned.

What You'll Need:

• Post-Secondary education in Business or related field
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging and constantly changing work environment
• Superior technical skills (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook, SharePoint, SAP, ECC, Micro strategy, SAS)
• Experience/knowledge with SAP is an asset.
• Clearly demonstrated sense of ownership and commitment and the capability to drive issues to closure, make recommendations from a strategic point of view including the development of policies, standards and core processes for projects within the organization
• Ability to recognize symptoms that indicate problems and manage the business’ perceived view/assessment of business risks appropriately.
• Relationship Alliance Building – A track record of building strong relationships with internal clients and external business partners.
• Planning and Organizing – Experience managing business expectations and setting priorities as appropriate.
• Communication Skills – Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication and documentation skills.  Presentation skills are essential.
• Continuous improvement mindset – Demonstrated excellence in the areas of professional development and workplace innovation.
