Why is this role important?

Imaging Coordinator (12 month contract)

The incumbent will follow standard imaging practices, maintain records, classify, and index records arranged in accordance with the established filing system.

Responsibilities

  • Co-ordination of the day-to-day operations primarily imaging documents (may include filing departmental records in preparation for imaging)
  • Assist users with researching information within the various filing systems
  • Data entry and location management of folders created on a computer tracking system
  • Performs special projects on a variety of tasks. This may include photocopying information, auditing a database, operations reports and file verifications
  • Ensure observance of business unit policies and procedures concerning Records and Information Management
  • Assist with the development, implementation and ongoing revisions to procedures, manuals, and retention schedules
  • Receive, analyze, verify active and in-active record transfers in accordance with the Loblaw Code of Conduct
  • Manage storage boxes to and from our offsite storage provider

Qualifications

  • Post high school education or equivalent preferred
  • 3 – 5 years experience in a records management and an imaging environment an asset
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with the Microsoft Office Suite with a background in computer tracking systems, Content Server, Adobe, and mainframe systems an asset
  • Must be highly detail oriented, organized with a high degree of accuracy, and have experience within an imaging environment of high volumes
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adhere to deadlines with effective time management skills
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter who can work independently or as part of a team with a willingness to learn
  • Excellent problem-solving, judgement capabilities, customer service, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
