Our Enterprise Information Technology group, supporting both Loblaw Companies Limited and Shoppers Drug Mart, provides best in class production, testing and warranty support as well as application design and development services to Canada’s largest grocery retailer.

Technical Product Analyst, North York, ON

In this role, you will work closely with the business units to capture business requirements, facilitate communication, and collaborate with the Healthcare product teams and stakeholders to monitor the design, testing and deployment of new and enhanced solutions. You will support with the successful delivery of strategic projects that impact our business and customers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work in collaboration with application team and business users to understand, elicit, analyze, document, and communicate program and platform/application objectives as a suite of stories and/or specifications
  • Negotiate effectively with the business through business process management to clarify needs vs. wants to balance business and technical requirements with cost of development
  • Partner with Architecture, security, privacy, development, quality assurance, data engineering, data governance, business intelligence and other cross functional teams
  • Help manage, support, and prioritize the Product team's backlog by articulating risks and impacts of new features and fixes
  • Partner with the delivery teams to define an overall testing approach, prioritize defects and support resolution where necessary to ensure that we adhere to our high-quality standards
  • Effectively communicate risks, issues and roadblocks to business users to drive alignment and expectations

What you Bring:

  • Experience working on Pharmacy Management and Supporting Systems
  • An understanding or experience working in a diverse agile team using Agile / Dev Ops principles using tools like JIRA & its modules in the ecosystem (e.g. Confluence, TM4J)
  • Demonstrated sense of ownership and commitment and the capability to drive issues to closure
  • Ability to leverage various collaborative problem-solving techniques
  • Present ideas in a clear and concise manner, tailor communication style and messaging to the audience
  • Familiarity with the use of test frameworks for automation of functional/non-functional, regression and risk-based testing
  • VBA Programming Skills
