Senior Specialist, Asset Management Office, Brampton, ON

In this role, you will help lead and drive a number of key strategic initiatives focused on process efficiencies and transformation, data management and clean-up, building standards and procedural reforms and working with various internal and external stakeholders on compliance related initiatives. This is an excellent role for a highly energetic individual, who is looking for a challenge, passionate for analyzing complex problems with the ability to convert abstract or undefined tasks and problems into concrete solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Liaise with key stakeholders across the organization to identify and document process improvement opportunities, create action plans to effectively groom and deliver outcomes.
  • Support in project efforts by coordinating project activities, create and manage project schedules and deliverables, gathering status updates, and coordinate follow-up as vital to support project deliverables.
  • Understand and interpret complex information, identify patterns and trends in new or strategic areas, and develop recommendations with minimal direction in order to respond and move forward with day-to-day priorities.
  • Assist in analyzing software license purchase and software discovery data and perform reconciliation and remediation tasks to ensure data accuracy and quality.
  • Assist the Software License Manager in processing and maintaining software procurement, contract, and software inventory in client’s solution
  • Assist the Software License Manager with conducting software license research to support clients purchasing and contracting requirements.
  • Support with creating training material and job aids and deliver training to Loblaw Technology and Business partners.
  • Work with support teams to develop reports and dashboards from various data streams specific operational processes and system health check data.

What you Bring:

  • Post-secondary education required.
  • Highly effective communication abilities with strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team dynamic both in office and remotely.
  • Ability to learn new concepts, technologies, and methodologies in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments and build strong working relationships. Problem-solver with strong work ethic, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Exceptional computer skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio). Experience with ServiceNow and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) module is a must.
  • Understanding of Cloud Platform environments and Cloud assets is key to the success of the role.. Experience working with Jira, Confluence, PowerBI and Flexera is an asset.
