Senior Specialist, Quality Engineering and Assurance – Brampton, ON- 12 Month Contract

Do you have a passion for Quality Engineering? If you wish to be involved in all aspects of software test automation including development and execution of regression testing, join our phenomenal, highly motivated team. Become an authority in regression testing, planning and execution for applications spanning the Loblaw landscape. Your interpersonal skills and collaborative personality will serve you well while working with various teams. You will use your strong analytical skills to improve the overall test automation landscape and support product teams as they test and implement projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop regression test expertise through detailed understanding of business-critical E2E test scenarios. Collaborate with diverse Portfolio teams and Product owners to identify, develop, and implement regression tests that span multiple applications.
• Participate in weekly release regression test cycles, including planning, performing impact analysis, test execution, defect management and test closure activities.
• Manage short term and long-term objectives and testing activities within schedule constraints. Responsible to ensure that all planned activities are implemented, executed and completed in accordance to the planned timeline.

What you Bring:

• Ability to work in a fast paced collaborative team where you can improve your proficiency in Quality Assurance methodologies, standards, processes, and test results.
• Expertise developing and implementing test and keyword driven automation including API test automation.
• Desire to deliver high quality solutions that support agile software development. Enjoy investigating complex problems, understanding data points and apply critical thinking skills to drive informed decision making
• Adopt evolving technology and demonstrate a continuous desire to learn and seek out innovative solutions and can easily adapt to new tools and trends.
