Supply Chain Analyst, Data Solutions and Business Analytics

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Replenishment Optimization Senior Manager; the Supply Chain Analyst, Data Solutions and Business Analytics, will play a vital part in the delivery and support of reports and reporting tools in Supply Chain Replenishment. You will be accountable for understanding the business requirements and for the design, production, testing, implementation, documentation and post implementation support associated to the development of reporting solutions and analytics according to the business requirements.

You should be familiar and flexible to working in both project and support environments, understanding how to align evolving functionality to a live production environment. Communication skills are key, as you will collaborate with various teams including IT and Senior Leadership.

What you’ll do:

• Full stack programing using tools such as python, SQL and web technologies
• Provide reporting and dashboard solutions to support business performance 
• Provide analytical insight from big data to drive efficiency within the supply chain team
• Support decision-making throughout the optimal mix of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics
• Create technical documentation for the supply chain reports (SOPs, job aids, flow charts, etc.)
• Act as a point of contact for reporting questions and issues

What you’ll need:

• Post-secondary education in computer science or engineering
• Must have strong computer skills. Highly proficient in MS Excel, Access, SAS, SQL
• Must have advanced experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Must have experience creating robust reports
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Solid experience in developing and providing accurate reporting
• 2-3 years of experience in the retail/wholesale grocery business would be an asset, including store experience (either part-time or full-time)
• Knowledge of SAP and/or JDA is an asset
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects/priorities and meet deadlines, under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
