SQL Developer We are looking for a full time SQL Developer to join our fast paced, dynamic, growing organization.

This role will report to the Development Manager.

Responsibilities Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures for and database queries Analyze existing SQL Queries for performance improvements Design and update database schema Responsible for the performance, integrity and security of our database Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Engineering/IT or equivalent Approximately 5 years of SQL Development / DBA experience (professional work experience) Experience working at a B2B technology company working with cloud DB technology Proficiency with MySQL or MariaDB, and a deep understanding of relational database systems Experience with stored procedures and database scripting Proficiency at diagnosing and troubleshooting errors Experience with AWS environments, ie.

setup, replicate, backup, monitoring, etc.
