Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited (“CTC”) is one of Canada’s most admired and trusted companies. With world-class Owned Brands and exciting market-leading merchandising strategies, we are continually innovating with purpose: to be there for Canadians from coast-to-coast. • Consult with project managers and key business stakeholders to reconcile actual cost vs plan
  • Create a portfolio health check reporting package to summarize scope, schedule, budget, and resources for all in-flight and un-started projects
  • Support the maintenance of a 5 year Supply Chain Projects Roadmap and development of governance processes (including the development of an intake and prioritization process)
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain and IT to manage changes to resource plans across multiple projects
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the Supply Chain Business teams on budgeting, forecasting and time keeping activities
  • Partner with Supply Chain and the Enterprise PMO to identify and implement improvements to the enterprise capital management and governance processes

What you bring

  • University degree (in Accounting/ Finance is an asset)
  • 4-5 years’ experience with annual capital planning, budgeting & forecasting for large capital initiatives
  • 3 years’ experience with portfolio resource capacity planning, demand management and reporting
  • Financial acumen as it relates to project/program/portfolio budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience developing portfolio reporting in a PMO environment
  • Experience supporting the establishment of a PMO
  • Advanced competencies in collaboration, communication, team building, stakeholder engagement and analytics are required to perform this role.
  • Results oriented with strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Data analysis skills with the ability to manipulate large amounts of data into effective reports and dashboards that will allow project leads and senior leaders to make informed decisions
  • Expert working knowledge of Excel and advanced skills in other Microsoft office applications such as Power BI
  • System savvy: experience in payroll, timekeeping (i.e., Planview) systems and People Soft are considered an asset
