Coordination of sales administration duties as directed by the Engineering Manager including but not limited to the following responsibilities and duties.
**The successful candidate for this role will work at our new Magna Structures Heart Lake facility located in Brampton, ON**
• Comprehend a customer’s request for quotation request and organize a team to respond appropriately.
• Tracking of all related customer purchase orders and request for quotations for subject customer.
• Able to respond to a customer’s engineering change or new business request by conceptualizing with CFT a technical solution, analyze costing impacts, and develop a business case for management review.
• Practical knowledge of automotive manufacturing assembly processes
• Preparation of quotations in customer format and able to present in a clear and concise method
• Interface with Account Managers ensuring proper follow-up to customer requests.
• Maintaining of program commercial status and progression for its entire life cycle.
• Follow-up to confirm invoicing of all prototype part shipments and prototype and production tooling.
• Provides Supervisor and Management team with immediate status updates as required.
• Work within the guidelines of the Deco Employee Handbook.
• Maintain of containment reports for piece price and tooling and roadmaps for new programs.
• TS16949 awareness and adherence,
• Commitment to continuous improvement and work place safety,
• Create Profit and Loss walk for current and new programs
• Understand and can create burden walks for equipment
• Finance knowledge of company measurements to make decisions on business
• Other duties as may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• Post-secondary education in Business or Engineering field
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Excellent computer skills
• Good analytical and Mathematical skills
• Ability to be self-reliant and proactive
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to perceive, comprehend and learn his/her responsibilities in a short and demanding time period.
