This position is for Massiv Die-Form, a division of Cosma International.

Role Summary
Key Responsibilities
• Set up, operate and program laser machine utilizing various CNC programs.
• Carry out quality checks on an ongoing basis to ensure job is within tolerance.
• Follow and participate in 4DX activities
• Follow and participate in 5S activities
• Ensure pre-start checks are complete
• Perform daily and weekly maintenance / troubleshooting of laser equipment as required.
• Meet tight deadlines and production needs as required.
• Responsible for troubleshooting programming problems on machine
• Utilize material handling equipment as required.
• Abide by all safety and non-safety plant rules and regulations.
• Adhere to established quality and housekeeping standards.
• Help out the Machine Shop when required.
• Responsible to carry out duties for Health, Safety, and Environment in accordance with the HS&E Agreement for Employees – Addendum
• Responsible for applicable QEMS policies, procedures & work instructions
• Perform other reasonable duties as required
Key Qualifications/Requirements
• Previous exposure to Laser operations an asset.
• Previous related experience an asset.
• Minimum Grade 12 required
• Good communication skills.
• Orientation, WHMIS, Fire Extinguisher, 5S, CI Suggestion Program, ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 training as prescribed by QEMS (see matrixes), Crane Training. Forklift Training (as required), TDG, Visual Manufacturing System
