Requisition Id: 24663Department: Crude Oil Marketing & Trading GroupOverviewPembina’s Calgary based Marketing Business Unit is searching for a Crude Oil Marketing Analyst to join their team.

Reporting to the Sr.

Manager, Crude Oil Trading and Marketing, you will play a supporting role in the ongoing development of Pembina’s midstream business strategy.Your primary responsibility will be supporting the team in maximizing Pembina’s crude oil marketing and trading enterprise.

Knowledge and experience in the crude oil marketing and trading business (front, mid and back office) will be considered an asset.

Specifically, an understanding of: commercial logistics & crude oil scheduling, pricing and/or marketing accounting will be beneficial.Summary of ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include but not be limited to:Support the Scheduling team by handling specific transportation logistics tasks (pipelines & trucks);Support the Producer Services team by providing customer support as need, specifically track production, assist with settlement;Support the delivery of required services to the commercial trading team.

This includes assisting with accounting, analytics, pricing, reporting, and systems development;Manage various business reporting requirements such as: Performance reporting, Key Performance Indicator track & reporting;Support others in protecting Midstream’s interests by assisting in the resolution of various daily operational / scheduling issues with internal and external stakeholders;Work with others to identify and develop opportunities for Pembina’s pipeline, storage, and terminaling assets; andFoster an environment of inclusion and diversity that continues to contribute towards values of team and collaboration.QualificationsThe preferred candidate will have a post-secondary degree in Business, Economics, or Engineering combined with a minimum of 2 years in the oil and gas industry with a preferred focus in crude supply, trading, and logistics;Relevant experience or understanding of logistics, pipeline transportation and/or marketing accounting are desirable but not required;Candidates should have good financial and business acumen and demonstrated ability to establish strong internal and external relationships;Communication, decision making, and multi-tasking skills are a must;This position requires strong computer skills, high attention to details, analytical capabilities and independent problem solving; andExperience with Right Angle (Commercial trading & logistics system) will be highly beneficial.Final candidate will be required to undergo a background check; including a criminal record check.No agency calls please.Pembina Pipeline Corporation is committed to diversity, equal opportunity and ensuring that our employees have the ability to thrive in an inclusive environment.
