Master Scheduler


This is a Full-time position in Brampton, ON posted August 13, 2019.

Our manufacturing client in the Brampton area is looking to add a Master Scheduler to their team.

If you’re a born leader with a strong background in Production and Supply Chain, then look no further, this role is what you’ve worked so hard for The Perks: $70K benefits vacation so much more Overview: The Master Scheduler is responsible for the development and preparation of daily/weekly schedules and optimization of all production resources to meet customer expectations and the planning and monitoring of inventory levels by coordinating communication data flow between production, supply chain and sales, to ensure CMS (ERP) is aligned.

The Role: Manage Production planning and scheduling activities.

On a daily basis, prepare and distribute schedules, monitor schedule attainment and follow-up significant concerns with production and/or management.

Review customer requirements to detect potential problems in meeting those customer requirements.

Manage and coordinate creation and updating of all engineering changes and BOM’s, to ensure product is available to meet launch date and volume.

Liaise with Quality Assurance and Sales on quality issues that affect deliveries, communicate scheduling deviations with Customer Service, maintain up to date system files regarding new or changing data.

Maintain daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports to ensure resources/inventory are available to meet customer demand.

Capacity planning and preventive maintenance scheduling Schedule and coordinate with production and maintenance, machine and tools maintenance and/or overhauls.

Manage the Scheduler and Production Planner You Bring: Minimum 5 years in manufacturing production control and inventory management, experience in a fast paced, high volume environment.

College degree in Business and/or APICS certification an asset.

Knowledge of extrusion, thermoforming and assembly technology.
