Security Guard Team Leader


This is a Full-time position in Brampton, ON posted September 8, 2019.

Responsibilities :
• This will be an overnight shift – 10:30pm – 7:00am .

• Responsible for balancing log reports & back-up paperwork for vehicles that have come and gone out since the end of the previous business day.

• Oversee the repo process
– from vehicle arrival to redemption.

• Experience with conflict resolution.

• conduct a variety of investigations related to people property or information.

• Coordinate, Dispatch and respond to all emergency situations on site, complete reports and edit staff reports to ensure completeness.

• Ability to motivate, coach and mentor.

• Prepares staff schedule and schedules staff to cover for absenteeism.

• Supervise security staff.

• Training new hires
– orientation, job functions.

• Ensuring only authorized people on site, securing compound as well as performing spot checks outside of their regular shifts and troubleshooting problems by telephone.

• Other duties as assigned.

Educational/Experience Requirements :
• High School diploma or equivalent education and previous experience working as a security guard; supervisory experience is an asset.

• Experience with CCTV cameras.

• Valid Security Guard License required.

• Valid Full G Drivers License in good standing required.

• Valid First Aid CPR Level A with AED.

• High degree of ethics and integrity.

• Strong organizational prioritization and time management skills.

• Work in challenging fast pace multi-task environment.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and customer service skills.

• Reliable team player.

• Experienced with Microsoft Office products.
