Manager, Supply Chain Demand

Role Description

The Manager, Supply Chain Demand is responsible to support store level forecasts and regional forecasts within LCL and SDM to ensure the best forecast accuracy and on shelf availability.  The ideal candidate will oversee a team of colleagues that will deal with store level forecasting issues, resolving them in a timely and effective manner to improve overall forecasts. They will work collaboratively with their replenishment peers to ensure that all defined process and procedures are being adhered to, while delivering on all KPI’s established by the Supply Chain Executive Team. The Manager, Supply Chain Demand is also responsible for managing and developing the Supply Chain Replenishment Analyst (SCRA) pool assigned, ensuring that they are fully trained and are executing the SCRA job function in an effective and efficient manner as defined.

This position reports to the Director, Demand Planning and Allocations

What you'll do:

  • Management, and leadership of the demand team.
  • Work with various supply chain teams to ensure an accurate forecast.
  • Lead & support processes that create and manage forecasts to support established inventory and category marketing / sales plans.
  • Ensuring all forecast requirements are executed to defined targets / standards and that SCRA’s execute plans effectively.
  • Ensure all data management pertaining to forecasts, product and vendor attributes are maintained effectively by the SCRA.
  • Lead and undertake process improvement initiatives, with cross functional teams members, focused on improving KPI’s.
  • Provide status updates to the business pertaining to supply chain and business unit performance including a forward view of expected results / opportunities.

What you'll need:

•University degree or colleague diploma preferably in a business filed or equivalent experience.

•Minimum of 3-5 years experience, preferably in a management role.

•Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, JDA (Luminate Demand Edge), SAP, Excel, SAS and Access.

•Knowledge of Python, SQL is an asset.

•Retail background is an asset
