And now we are looking to expand our amazing team with the addition of a Director of Operations who will oversee all activities for our critical Ontario Securiguard Security Operations, reporting directly to the Vice President Operations.Key Responsibilities: Understand your clients and lead from the front by being actively involved in all aspects of client relationship management to become their trusted security and safety solutions resource. Build a successful motivated team from the front lines to the office who live the company values, are best in class on responsiveness to the clients, feel supported and embrace their career opportunities with Securiguard while realizing the goals of enhancing service delivery, while meeting expected financial and business resultsManage, maintain and improve on all aspects of the delivery of quality security services to an existing key client base.Visit client sites with Client Service Team on a regular basis to understand future needs and level of satisfaction as well as maintain working knowledge of services required and how it can be improved.Ensure all contract and legislative requirements are being met.Support strategic account start-ups and transition plansManagement of Strategic Alliances and sub-contractors (as applicable)Bid Team Participation and Proposal Writing supportIncident Response and Incident CommandKPI Implementation and ReportingAsset, Equipment and Fleet ManagementKnowledge: Legislation – Relevant government and security legislation in Ontario and the eastern provinces of Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and NewfoundlandSecurity Operations – schedule management, Standing Orders preparation, security systems (CCTV/Access Control), Incident Reporting set-up and installationFinancial – margin maintenance/improvement, Client/Site financial analysis, Spend ControlSkills & Experience:Demonstrated success in building and leading teams; passion and high energy for peopleProven track record of excellence in client relationship management, problem solving and business developmentExperience in an operational setting involving the management and supervision of many staff members Strong communicator with assertive interpersonal skills and team player are critical to success.Security professional with a proven management experience within the security industry, the public sector or armed services is an assetStrong management and leadership skills together with excellent communication, influencing, negotiating and engagement skillsSound judgment and decision-making skills, with a ‘hands on’, problem solving approach, able to remain calm under pressure and take control of incidentsExperience of writing policy, standing order procedures, drafting reports, preparing business cases and compiling and adjusting duty rosters to meet shortfalls in staffing levelsRisk Management certification an assetMS Office proficiency; Self motivated; demonstrated ability to produce results while working independently; proven strong analytical and organizational skills; proven customer service skills required; sales and management training an asset; valid Class G ONTARIO Drivers License; access to or possession of vehicle for attending to all client sites; and knowledge of security industry an asset.
