Material Handler/Driver

The Material Handler/Driver is responsible for the transporting and delivering of production materials to correct areas within the plant by using the correct equipment, tools and procedures outlined by the department. 
 

**The successful candidate for this role will work at our new Magna Structures Heart Lake facility located in Brampton, ON**

• Maintaining inventory by labelling, properly placing material and supplies in their location and recording via RF equipment.
• Responsible for ensuring that all material is working a method of FIFO.
• Assist in restructuring storage locations, plant modifications and line staging requirements.
• Participate in corrective actions to problem solve and continuous improvement. 
• Monitor, record and document any required data.
• Responsible for delivering information to the Team Leaders in terms of unexpected production changes.
• Perform operations in a manner consistent with the division’s objective for quality, responsiveness, and cost.
• Perform all functions in a safe manner for all employees.

• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent education.
• Physically and mentally able to perform all essential duties of a forklift operator as per the division’s Forklift Operator guidelines.
