· Manufacturing Apply Now Supply Chain Manager Brampton, Ontario Competitive Salary and Benefits Manufacturing This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager with experience in the manufacturing sector to join a highly reputable and innovative Canadian organization in Brampton, Ontario.

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee procurement and the supply chain processes including all aspects of purchasing, transportation and logistics, sourcing, developing supplier relationships, maintaining inventory levels, contract, and price and term negotiations.

The position details: Competitively source required products and services and evaluate all purchasing activities used for production activities Develop and execute value-added purchasing policies and strategies Develop and maintain long term business relationships with strategic sources of supply Utilize and leverage ERP and management tools to ensure predictable and effective replenishment of goods across the business Manage the organization’s purchasing policies, procedures, standards, and strategies in order to ensure strategic sourcing, and process transparency Define, implement, negotiate and manage Contracts and Performance Agreements with all critical suppliers Continually improve supply chain and procurement processes to drive down annual spend Establish and maintain supplier listings and regularly evaluate supplier capabilities Develop key supplier relationships, who are aligned to the Company’s needs Collaborate with the sales and production team to develop the material supply plan to meet customer needs This candidate will have the following aspects: Good understanding of contractual issues in order to advise the business appropriately and to manage risk.

Evaluate and identify market trends for the material types we purchase Strong Negotiation skills and experience in negotiating vendor contracts.

Previous experience with sourcing and developing new suppliers for raw materials, products, and services Previous experience in inventory management including min/max quantity levels Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and documentation Excellent communication skills.

Must be highly motivated and self-disciplined.

Ability to multi task and work on various projects at any given time with competing deadlines Proficiency with an MRP or ERP system (SAP, Visual, JD Edwards, etc.) with extensive analytical experience Well-versed in lean manufacturing principles.

Must possess in-depth knowledge of supply chain activities.
